Why La Vetta Is One of the Best Fort Wayne Wedding Venues
If you’re searching for Fort Wayne wedding venues and want the one with the best view in the city, you need to look into La Vetta! It’s a brand new luxury venue that sits on the 25th and 26th floors of the PNC Tower in downtown Fort Wayne, and after the Reiders wedding there, I can say with total confidence it’s one of the most stunning Fort Wayne wedding venues, especially with the views.
Sydney is also a florist herself (you can check out her IG here), so the second I found out, I knew her wedding florals were going to be incredible. She did not disappoint, and neither did this venue!
What Makes La Vetta One of the Best Fort Wayne Wedding Venues
La Vetta is super new, which is a bonus! But it used to be The Summit Club, and it’s been completely reimagined into Fort Wayne’s newest luxury event space. I was blown away by the floor-to-ceiling windows wrapping around the reception space when I first went there. And I love that you get the entire downtown Fort Wayne skyline as your backdrop, which is something most Fort Wayne wedding venues simply can’t offer.
If you’re the kind of couple who wants your reception to feel like a whole experience, not just a room with tables in it, this venue is such a good option. The view alone makes every photo look like it belongs in a magazine, and the space itself has that modern, polished feel without losing any warmth!
A Versatile Reception Space For Any Style Wedding
Every part of the Reider’s reception felt intentional. The florals were obviously a showstopper since she does this for a living, but it was more than that. The cake from Sassie Cakes was gorgeous, the live music from Night to Remember kept the dance floor full all night, and Blu Spoon Events handled the catering, and it was amazing!
Kelly and Kennedy with Four Thirty Weddings coordinated the whole day, and you could tell how good they are at what they do because nothing felt rushed or chaotic, which, as a photographer, I notice immediately. A well-coordinated day means I get to focus on capturing real moments, and no one around you is stressed about anything (including the family and friends).
Getting Ready and Portraits Before the Reception
Before we headed to La Vetta, we did portraits at Headwaters Park, which is just a few minutes from downtown and gives you that mix of green space and city in one spot. We also stopped at The Bradley hotel for a few more shots, and if you’re looking for a getting-ready spot that doubles as a gorgeous photo backdrop, I’d put that on your list too. It’s an easy add to your day if your venue is downtown anyway.
Sydney’s hair was done by Tayler Nevil and her makeup by Makeup By Mckayla, her dress came from The Bridal Bar, and her now-husband’s tux was from The Suit Shop. Every single vendor on this day brought their A game, and it showed.
Looking for a Fort Wayne Wedding Photographer?
If you’re still touring Fort Wayne wedding venues and want something that feels different from the historic ballrooms and barns you’ve probably already seen, La Vetta is worth a visit! The skyline view and the newness of the space make it a venue I’d recommend again and again.
